What organizers tell us
Attendees leave with practical tools they can apply, not just ideas to consider. Sessions are structured around behavior change, not content delivery, which means the work continues after the room empties.
Nancy works closely with organizers before every engagement to understand the audience, the context, and what success looks like for the room. The result is a session that fits your event, not a repurposed deck.
Session formats
Nancy works within your program structure. Typical formats include:
Keynote
45 to 75 minutes. A focused, high-energy session that reframes how an audience thinks about a topic and sets the tone for a conference or convening.
Workshop
Half-day or full-day. Hands-on, practical sessions designed around a specific topic or challenge. Participants work through tools and frameworks they can apply immediately.
Multi-session programs
Leadership institutes, conferences, or cohort programs that build skills over time. Designed for organizations that want learning to produce lasting behavior change beyond a single event.
Not sure what format fits your event? Let’s talk about your audience and goals and we’ll figure it out together.
Topics
These are starting points, not a fixed menu. Every session is shaped around the specific problem your audience is trying to work through: the topic is the entry point, the behavior change is the goal.
Powerhouse Boards
How to build a board culture rooted in purpose, trust, and shared leadership.
Let’s Talk Money
A practical approach to nonprofit finance for staff and board members, focused on building confidence and clarity.
How to Move People to Action
The learning science behind behavior change, applied to nonprofit work. What actually moves people from knowing to doing, and how to design for it.
How to Raise Money
An accessible, action-oriented introduction to fundraising that builds confidence and produces results.
Trainer Academy
A program for staff, volunteers, or partner organizations who want to design and deliver more engaging, effective training.
Nancy has developed many additional sessions on nonprofit leadership, management, advocacy, and learning design. Workshops are always adapted to your organization’s size, structure, and goals. Get in touch to talk about what would serve your audience best.

“Working with Nancy has been an incredible asset for our newly formed nonprofit. As a new Executive Director, I was overwhelmed and nervous about not knowing ALL the requirements of being a non-profit. Nancy’s trainings have filled in the gaps and are presented in a way that transforms that overwhelm into an action plan I feel confident I can accomplish. I highly recommend her as a gamechanger for those managing and starting a nonprofit.”
